COVID-19 Update

Hello Residents,

We are continuously monitoring and evaluating Coronavirus developments. We will be following the advice of Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, and aligning with the City of Edmonton Recreation Centres in terms of when we will open again.
We will continue to complete community and contract maintenance, maintain the facilities, and staff will be working to facilitate day to day operations including bookkeeping functions, and planning programming so we are prepared once we reopen.

Programs & Room Rentals

Spring programs that are scheduled to begin in the upcoming weeks are cancelled, and registrants will be contacted in the coming days to process refunds or credits. Room rentals scheduled for the next two weeks will be cancelled. If your booking falls outside of the next two weeks, we will not be contacting you at this time, however as the situation continues to evolve please be prepared that room rentals beyond two weeks may still be cancelled.


Annual Fee Payments

We’ve received a few questions regarding the annual RA fees because of the facility closure. While the building can’t be accessed by residents at this time, as a Residents Association we have obligations to consider and manage as this situation remains fluid. We continue to assess the business, including financial operations, but it is too early in this public health event to know the total impacts. Our fiscal responsibility to the community is to ensure the long-term financial health of the non-profit association funded by you, the residents.


Annual Resident Association fees are due for those who have not already paid. However, the deadline to pay will be extended past the April 1st collections date. At this time, we are working through a number of details as we mentioned. Once we determine when the new deadline will be, we’ll announce this date, giving residents time to pay their annual fee.  To limit social gathering, we will provide multiple ways to pay – online, by mail, over the phone. Be prepared to use your Invoice Number and Access Code at it’s safe to re-open, residents will then be welcome to pay in-person at the Social House and visit us then.
